Sorry, my humor is sometimes too dry.

I say God pulled a fast one b/c I didn't notice obvious cosmetic defects until after we had a contract. I'm usually an observant person so it was odd that I didn't notice the flaws. The fact that we are in a house period is a blessing from God, I don't want that to be unclear b/c of my flippant humor.

Yes, we had an inspection. The house is fine, just a bit rundown and in need of updating. I wrote this post tongue-in-cheek as making jokes about the things that frustrate me tends to help me get over myself.

As I suspected, I'm afraid my humor is not a good mix with my faith. I think I'll go back to more serious posts.Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04697072499214349759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18336822.post-1150994679157772482006-06-22T04:44:00.000-12:002006-06-22T04:44:00.000-12:00Speak it Sister! So, smile, relax, and enjoy your visit with your Dad--if we wait until things are perfect.....we'd never have guests!

DianeDiane Vierehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02859925247520578754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18336822.post-1150865338136901542006-06-20T16:48:00.000-12:002006-06-20T16:48:00.000-12:00I totally understand what you mean. The only room we really have the way we want is our living room, but then again, we spend most of our time in there. It would be nice to have everything 'my' way, but I also have to watch my budget...I see our house as a temporary dwelling place, so I don't worry about it too much. Not sure if that gives you any comfort...
Thank you for stopping by today...missed you. Will I see you at the carnival?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
